Thread: Just saw Hannibal and I'm confused. . .

    I remember when I was on the set as an extra, I got a peek at the LCD moniter attached to one of the cameras. The aspect ratio was in 2.35:1 on the moniters. I just looked at the "technical aspects" of Hannibal on IMDB.com:

    And it also says it was filmed in 2.35:1.

    But when I saw it last night at the movies, it was in 1.85:1! Anyone know what may have happened? Did I see a different print? I know Ridley Scott doesnt shoot in 1.85:1 much.
